Katy and Chris’ Singleton Lodge Wedding Photography
So Yesterday was the day for Katy and Chris’ Singleton Lodge Wedding Photography. The beautiful Singleton Lodge Country House in Lancashire is lovely wedding venue. Katy had planned the whole day perfectly. Which showed in the fun, relaxed atmosphere that every one was enjoying.
I first joined Katy in the morning for her bridal preparations. They were getting ready in the suite at Singleton Lodge. Getting ready at your venue is a great idea. There seems to be less stress somehow. I suppose its because you don’t have to worry about transport or traffic getting to anywhere else. Plus it gives you that extra bit of time to get ready, which is always a bonus haha. Katy wasn’t alone getting ready of course she had her lovely Bridesmaids with her. Along with her beautiful daughters, who made the perfect flower girls. The girls were so well behaved while all the bridesmaids were busy getting their hair and make up done.
The Guests are Arriving
Before we knew it the guests had slowly started arriving. Some of them were super early. Another little tip for you, guests, wedding cars etc always arrive early so don’t be panicked into thinking your running late just because they’ve turned up and your brushing your teeth. They turn up early because they don’t want you to panic by turning up late. It’s your wedding it’s one day that you shouldn’t have to wait for anything!
Anyway after the initial excitement of guests arriving it was time to get our Bride in her beautiful Dress which she had chosen from the super lovely team at the Bridal Collection in Lancaster. After a little help with a crochet hook Katy was in her dress in a flash. Ready to see her Dad. The reveal to the Father of the Bride is just as important as the Groom for me. It must be so emotional for a father to see his little girl becoming wife.
So after a short walk next door, it was in no time at all that the ceremony was in full swing. Chris was a bit nervous waiting for his Bride but as soon as he saw all three of his gorgeous girls walk down the aisle you could see his nerves disappear. After the ceremony everyone made their ways outside for some drinks on the patio. The grounds of Singleton Lodge Country House are beautiful. They are made even better by the Alpacas. A few of the Alpaca’s may of made a few appearances in the photographs.
As always it was an honour to work with the awesome team at Singleton Lodge. As well as the epic Flower Design, your flowers were stunning as always, the colours were just WOW! The show stopping Love letters were from The Word is Love and made the perfect backdrop to the dance floor, which was pumping thanks to Gary Mills the awesome DJ for the evening. The day was also filmed by Fylde Wedding Films. I hope I didn’t get in the way to much lads.
Thanks again for having me a long for the ride guys, I loved every single second.
I’ll keep you waiting no longer, enjoy having a peek into Katy and Chris’s Wedding Day.
