Lockdown Love Shoots

Well what a strange time we’re currently living through. As you can imagine my little wedding photography business has taken a massive hit during the pandemic. My weddings have been postpone to the autumn I’m just keeping everything crossed that they can go ahead. My normal Newborn Shoots have had to be cancelled and family locations shoots haven’t been allowed.

Weddings Postponed

Obviously no weddings has meant I have had to be creative and think of other ways of making some pennies during this crazy time. In May I made my own little lockdown film of what me and my family have been up too. I’ll pop at the end of the post. But I had so many people contact me saying I wish we could document this time like you have. So that got my little brain thinking…

Lockdown Love Shoots

And that is were the Lockdown Love shoots were born. We’ve all been locked away in our homes.  Which has been strange but amazing getting to spend so much time together. So what better way to remember, than having some photographs at your own front door where you’ve been confined too for weeks on end.

Donating to St John’s Hospice

I was beginning to feel really low about the whole situation, I missed my couples, I missed meeting new people and more importantly I missed photographing people. The lockdown shoots have meant so much to me and I wanted to share some of the love by donating to St John’s Hospice, they’re still working there socks off during this strange time and have lost out on lots of fundraising opportunities due to the pandemic. So far we’ve raised £135 for St John’s Hospice I’d love to get this up to £200. So please if you’ve been thinking about having a Lockdown Love Shoot contact me for my availability. I’m only do them for the next few weeks. The Lockdown Love Shoots are £25 for your choice of 5 images, a 10 minute shoot, 20% goes to St John Hospice. Social Distancing rules applied throughout.
