I Loved this November Wedding in the Lake District
A winter Wedding in the Lake District. At one of my favourite Cumbrian Wedding Venues, The Villa at Levens. Anna had her bridal preparations with her bridesmaid in the bridal suite of the Villa at Levens. The ladies had plenty of room to get ready. With the bridal preparations being at the Villa it meant there was no rushing around to get ready to travel to different venues. This allowed the bridal party that extra bit of time to get ready. It also meant I was able to nip downstairs and photograph the ceremony room all set up with no body in it and see Damien arrive. Anna’s beautiful dress was from the awesome ladies at The Bridal Collection in Lancaster.
Indoor Photo Options
The stairs in the hall of the Villa at Levens, always make for lovely photographs. Whether that means for the Bride walking down to her ceremony, or Bride and Groom portraits. It’s always nice to have an indoor option for photographs just incase the weather isn’t great. Let’s face it, a wedding in the Lake District in November will more than likely be cold or have rain. We were actually really lucky and had great weather. It was even good enough to have Anna’s Grandad’s Austin Seven car with the roof down.
Fun Entertainment
Choosing the correct entertainment for your wedding can make or break your wedding reception. Will the guests like what you choose? Will they get it or just loath it! Anna and Damien had booked the awesome Wayne Farrow as their wedding entertainment and boy did he get the party started. There was napkin throwing, singing, conga lines (everyone loves a good conga). He kept them on the dance floor all night. They definitely made the right decision booking Wayne.
