Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Photography
I had the huge honour of photographing Jemma and Liam’s Summer Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding I loved every single second.
I love photographing weddings at Sandhole Oak Barn. It’s a beautiful Cheshire wedding venue. I am based in Lancaster as a wedding photography but I do like to travel all over for weddings. Cheshire never disappoints.
Jemma and Liam have seen me at a number of weddings as guests and have been, I quote “secretly watching the way I work”. So they must of liked me as they booked me to photograph their baby girl and then their Sandhole Oak barn Wedding. I was so happy when they decided to book me. The day ran smoothly from start to finish. I’m sure this didn’t happen by accident though. Jemma had put so much effort into planning everything, she’d booked some awesome wedding suppliers.
The team at the venue were amazing and so helpful. The wedding reception room and ceremony were dressed by the very talented Gemma at Bluebells and Daises. Gemma always puts a huge amount of effort into every wedding she does. I’d highly recommend her. The Cake, well Jemma’s very talented sister Lisa from Lisa Makinson Cakes made it and what a show stopper it was, I’d say classically beautiful.
I joined Jemma and the girls getting ready in the Sandhole Oak Barn Dressing room. Jemma’s daughters Miley and Orla were so excited, and a joy to photograph. Jemma wanted lots of photographs of her girls, so bridal preparations in the morning may have been taken over by them. They are so beautiful it was hard to take photographs of anything else hahah.
The Groom Arrives
Liam arrived in a gorgeous Vintage Bentley convertible with his Groomsmen. He was more than ready to make Jemma his wife. He was so happy to see everyone and welcome everyone. I don’t think the nerves really kicked in until he was waiting at the top of the aisle. Jemma walked down the Aisle with her lovely Dad, who may of shed a few tears. The ceremony was beautiful and very personal with some lovely readings.
The weather was perfect so after the ceremony all the guests enjoyed a a celebratory champagne under the pagoda and in the gardens of Sandhole. The views over the Lake from the Barn are beautiful and with the sun bouncing off the water it really was the perfect wedding venue.
Jemma and Liam’s Wedding Day was absolutely perfect and I’m sure was everything that they had imagined. A perfect Day for a Perfect couple, thanks again for asking me to play apart in your Big day guys, I loved every second. Here’s just a few of my favourites…..
