Tabley House and Tipi Wedding

Tabley House and Tipi Wedding for the awesome Mr & Mrs Kendrick

Wow Wow Wow!!! What a Wedding day Mike and Lucy had. To say I loved every second would be an understatement. So where to start. A Tipi Wedding has been on my bucket list for years, so when I found out Mike and Lucy’s plans I was very excited!! Not only did I hit it off with Mike and Lucy from our very first meeting but my pooch the Duke did too, anyone that can put up with Duke diving all over them is definitely going to be my cup of tea.

The Ceremony

Mike and Lucy booked Tabley house for their wedding ceremony venue and boy was I excited. Tabley house only have a handful of weddings a year so to get to photograph one of those was awesome. Tabley house definitely has the wow factor. The architecture was very grand with its huge columns and curved staircases leading up to the entrance. Which is where I saw Mike for the first. He came of the door like the lord of the manor. The ceremony room was beautiful, although I didn’t dare touch anything, everything was an antique and very important and probably extremely expensive.

The ceremony was lovely with a beautiful reading from Mike and Lucy’s friend Johnny, who managed to wangle his way on to the stag and hen do’s. I think he definitely made the most of the wedding haha. After the ceremony everyone enjoyed a glass of fizz on the lawn in front of Tabley House. It was a lovely chilled atmosphere everyone enjoying the sunshine and scenery.

Then while all the guests jumped on the coach back to Lucy’s mum’s house near Kirkham, I had chance to get some Bride and Groom Portraits with the epic Tabley House as our back drop.

The Tipi Wedding Reception

So waiting at Lucy’s Mum’s house was the wedding reception, an awesome Tipi in her Mum’s amazing garden. So we’d gone from a very royal feeling ceremony venue to a laid back festival feel Tipi wedding, it was just awesome. Everything was thought about, from the fairy lights and candles around the garden and out buildings, to the glass jar Pimms glasses and flowery straws. Although I’m not sure what the cats thought of their garden being invaded?! Mike even had some in put on the wedding planning too. Mike used to live in South Africa. The traditional wedding breakfast meal was now a South African BBQ, which was amazing! To the point where I think all weddings should have a BBQ.

Later on in the evening guests were entertained by the 615 team, who had the dance floor full all night. A saxophone, bongos, who wouldn’t be on the dance floor!!!

Anyway I’m going to stop going on and let you all see for your selves this awesome Tipi Wedding. Thanks again for having me guys and once again a Huge Congratulations to you both.
