I can’t quite believe it’s been a year already since this awesome wedding at The Belfield Laura Ashley Hotel in Bowness Windermere. This has got to be one of my favourite Lake District wedding venues. It’s location is fantastic. Set on the hill looking over lake Windermere it has the perfect panoramic views across the lake over to the majestic mountains . I  love taking my couples down to the lake for photographs. I think the tourist’s in the back ground always add to the atmosphere of the photographs. Not forgetting all the ducks and swans that pitch out there waiting for those tourists to feed them. The facilities at the Belsfield Hotel are perfect for a wedding. The ceremony is nice and light with a lovely view across the lake, while the bar area is a nice break from the formalities of the day and lets not forget the gorgeous lawns outside ready for you to soak up the sun drinking a glass of fizz.

Robyn and Mike’s Big Day

Robyn and Mikes wedding at The Belsfield Hotel wasn’t quite so warm with it being in February but none the less although there were no drinks on the lawns we still managed to get out and make the most of the hotels surrounding for the photographs. The Day started off quite fogging and overcast but if you know the Lakes you know this doesn’t last long and it had cleared by the afternoon. Look at the photographs to see how much it cleared up. Robyn and Mike had travelled up from Stamford for their Lake District Wedding. Mike and Robyn love the Lakes so they thought why not have the biggest day of their lives up there. So they invited their Friends and Family to join them at this beautiful wedding venue. I think it’s fair to say they were all impressed. The relaxed luxurious atmosphere of the hotel suited them all down to the ground.
