Wennington Hall, What a Wedding Venue

Wow, this place is unreal. What a Wedding Venue and how lucky am I to have it pretty much on my door step. Wennington Hall is a stunning new wedding venue nestled perfectly between the Ribble Valley, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Just 20 minutes out of Lancaster is this stunning Grade II listed building which was formly a school. The transformation has been remarkable and I’ve the pleasure of photographing their second wedding.

Colette and Callum’s Wennington Wedding

Colette and Callum obviously knew this venue was for them. They put their trust in James Places dream team and booked their wedding when Wennington Hall was more of a shell of a wedding venue. But boy did their gamble pay off. This venue is honestly gorgeous and there’s still bits to be finished. The bridal suite and Prep area are amazing. The exclusive use of this venue is just perfect. You really do feel like lord of the manor for a day.

The ceremony room is lovely bright and airy and makes the perfect backdrop. With it’s gorgeous curved frame Windows your images will always be nice and bright in this room. While the grandeur of the entrance hall and large fire place which gives off all the grand cozy vibes. The stair case is a perfect dramatic backdrop, never mind the building it’s self. You really are spoilt for choice at this venue. I’m sure it will be a wedding photographers favourite. It is mine. So if you’re planning your big day here I’d love to hear from you.
