A Wyresdale Park Wedding for Imogen & Robbie

Imogen & Robbie got to have their big day on a gorgeous Sunny Spring Day. Wyresdale Park was the perfect wedding venue for them. The laid back chilled vibe matched their personalities perfectly as did my style of wedding photography. By the end of the day I felt like I’d known them both and their friends for years.

I love photographing a Wyresdale Park wedding. I’m lucky that i get to photograph weddings here quite often, which is perfect I’m only 15 minutes down the road and know the area really well. I’m always really impressed with the setup and the ease of everything. Not only does it look fantastic. The ceremony room is so nice and light, which always helps. They now also have the most stunning outdoor ceremony area. Which Gemma at Bluebells and Daisies dressed perfectly. The gorgeous colourful spring flowers looked fantastic and brought a sunny warmth.

To give you an idea of where Wyresdale Park is, it’s at the bottom of a very popular walking spot up Nicky Nook. The scenery around there is stunning. So many wedding photography opportunities. As well as Wyresdale Park it’s self. The light coloured barns, the stone courtyard and the super pretty lake are just perfect for a laid back country wedding. My favourite kind, which leads me on to saying Wyresdale Park is up there as one of my favourite wedding venues!

Wyresdale Park for Bridal Preparations

Theres lots of places to get ready now. They have really invested in the venue to allow you and your guests to have the best day with all the ease of a hotel. Imogen had her bridal preparations in the North Wing which has been beautifully renovated to allow you to have the perfect chilled morning in the run up to your ceremony. Imogen and her bridesmaids definitely made the most of this space.  

They Trusted me to get it right

Imogen & Robbie’s wedding definitely didn’t disappoint. Imogen and Robbie had told me that they didn’t want to spend hours having photographs taken and that they trusted me completely to get the best shots for them. I’m pleased to say Imogen and Robbie were very happy with their wedding photographs and loved the whole experience as did I.  I always try and make my couples feel really at ease while photographing them. Chatting and making a fool out of my self (which isn’t hard) is normally the way I relax my couples.

Sam was our wedding photographer in April and we have finally looked through all of the stunning photos from our day and all we can say is WOW!
From the moment we first spoke with Sam she made us feel so comfortable. We didn’t know what to expect being the centre of attention for the day but my god we had so much fun. Sam captured our true selves perfectly. The photos are so natural and exactly what we wanted.
